Saranac Fingering is a single ply fingering weight yarn that is great for lace, cables and textured stitches because of the great stitch definition. It is soft and springy and would be great for garments that will be worn against the skin such as hats, gloves, scarves and light sweaters. It will also make beautiful shawls because of the way the single construction shows stitch definition.

Colorway: Gray Dawn is a gradient colorway that changes from black to purple to bright blue to gray with long color changes.

This yarn changes once through the color transition–see the final photo of this listing for an indication of the length of the color changes, although the shawl is a different colorway (Ashton Shawlette by Dee O’Keefe). The transitions between the colors are not hard lines–there will be some variegated sections at the transitions.
