North Country Sock is soft and springy but has the added sturdiness of nylon. It will make great socks that are comfortable but hold up to wear and tear. This yarn would also be suitable for shawls or other garments that call for a fingering weight yarn. One skein should be enough for a pair of socks, but be sure to check your pattern’s requirements.
Oriental Poppy is a gradient colorway that changes from dark purple to maroon, red and orange with long color changes, then back from orange to red, maroon and dark purple.
One skein of this yarn is will knit up into a pair of matching socks if one is knit from the outside of the ball and the other is knit from the inside (see the final photo of this listing for an example, but note it is a different colorway). The transitions between the colors are not hard lines–there will be some variegated sections at the transitions (see sock photo for an example).
Care: Machine wash cold and lay flat to dry.
