It’s been over a month since my last post! I spent almost two weeks in New England for the Fiber Festival of New England and Stitches East, plus a lot of time getting ready before hand and catching up afterwards. Both shows went really well and it was great to meet everyone who stopped by the booth! It’s also good to be home, though, and to settle in and regroup. My next show will be the Pittsburgh Knit and Crochet Festival in March. Until then, I’ll be restocking the Etsy shop, dyeing more gradients, debuting a few new products, and hopefully getting back on a regular blogging schedule. Plus, I’m finally getting some time to knit again. Here are some moments from the past month:
I always love a good Columbia Heights sunset.
The infamous Fair Isle sweater now has two (acceptable) sleeves.
Some purple, green and turquoise Corriedale roving from Dancing Leaf Farm I got for myself at Montpelier Fiber Festival (where I got to be a shopper, for a change).
I went to Rhinebeck (also as a shopper) and got a kit to make this needle felted pony from Kelly at Romney Ridge Farm. It was my first time needle felting and I love it!
Sunset over the Hudson River, Poughkeepsie, New York (I guess I like sunsets).
Rainbow self-striping socks (yarn from Quaere Fibre–I admire anyone with the patience and skill to make 10-color self-striping yarn).
This made me smile after a long day! (from www.geekdetails.com)
One of my favorite spots (Montague, MA).
Watch Hill, Rhode Island.
The booth at Stitches East.
