Week in Pictures

I’m back from New Jersey and getting ready for Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival (Sept. 28-29). How does three weeks go by so quickly? The fall is always a blur, but in a good way.

Ball of String

September 9: I’ve been dyeing so much yarn I used up my 1.5 mile ball of string I use to tie up the skeins…

Hand Dyed Yarn

September 10: Pile of yarn…

Mini Skeins

September 11: Mini skeins Ann brought back for me from Kansas City! These are going in the blanket.

September 12: A stormy day.

Fair Isle Sweater

September 13: I’ve become obsessed with my fair isle sweater lately. After letting it sit for two years, I really want to get this finished this year.

Greek Columns

September 14: Columns at the National Arboretum on a perfect fall day.

Self Striping Sock Yarn

September 15: Thinking of making Halloween socks with some self-striping yarn I dyed a while back.
